Abstract

Highlights: Fall 1972 features new courses in disciplines such as urban studies, the humanities, biology and psychology --New administrative appointments and a reorganization of admissions and student personnel functions have taken place at SHU --A University Management Center to provide managerial training development for area profit and nonprofit industries, businesses and organizations started September 1. Charles W. Harper, chairman of the business administration department, is director --Community use of the SHU library increased significantly during the past year and 155 new community borrowers were added. In addition, an extensive children’s literature collection has been developed during the last few years --The President's Corner --Campus Reports --New alumni office will maintain a liaison between the University and its 1,800 graduates --Nationally ranked SHU varsity basketball faces several new opponents and expanded tourney play in 1972-73.
