Abstract

Highlights include: SHU President Anthony J. Cernera conducted his first “President’s Rap” session of the semester, providing students with an opportunity for open dialogue --Lynn DeRobertis has been the SHU Director of Health Services for 5 years and is now moving on --The Stewart B. McKinney Foundation, established by Mrs. McKinney in memory of Congressman McKinney who died of AIDS, founded The AIDS Education Consortium. A grant from the Foundation will enable SHU professors to work with high school and elementary teachers to bring AIDS information and greater awareness to students --Tradition and spirit in a Catholic University (from Dr. Cernera's Address to the Faculty, August, 1991) --Coordinated and planned by Virginia Apple, director of public relations at SHU, photo essays by seven local award winning newspaper photographers premiered "Life Stories" --Cross Town Rivalry: SHU tackles UB --Sports Shorts.
