Abstract

Highlights Include: Campus Security takes further steps to prevent crime and maintain safety on campus by enacting SHU crime prevention month. Students on campus launch a boycott of Snapple products sold on campus due to the high inflation of prices. Students voice their opinions about the upcoming election, homophobia on campus, and compromise in relationships. The student radio, WWPT, gets a spotlight in the Spectrum this week, and boasts a growing user base and level of student involvement. Things are looking up for Pioneers with wins for Women's Volleyball, Women's Soccer and Men's Soccer. Football loses to St. Peter's of New Jersey, and Baseball continues to struggle.
