Abstract

Highlights include: The Student Affairs Committee proposes a student activities fee of $25.00 per semester for all fulltime students --Spring semester session of the SHU Theological Institute will present courses on the “Mission and Organization of the Church” and on the development of the teaching of the “Historical Jesus” this semester, according to Walter E. Brooks, assistant professor of religious studies --Students and faculty at SHU will soon find out the results of the teacher evaluations given last fall semester by the Student Government --Mr. Thomas Calabrese has come up with an idea for a type of Theatre Club. This club will be open to all who are interested in seeing plays, on or off Broadway, or a particular aspect of the theatre --The Department of Religious Studies is hopeful that a religious major will be offered at Sacred Heart next fall -- Three very devoted and hard-working teachers who make up the Spanish Department, Mrs. Malloy, Dr. Quintero, and Mrs. Torreira, are credited with making the major in Spanish a reality --Winter Weekend --Sports.
