Abstract

Highlights include: Athletic Director Dave Bike announced the addition of three varsity sports programs: Division III football, men’s lacrosse, and Division III women’s soccer --SHU celebrated its 27th anniversary at its annual Founder’s Day in the Schine Auditorium. Acting Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Lucjan Orlowski, served as Master of Ceremonies of the program --Faculty across the curriculum are planning workshops in Global/Cultural Awareness in Fall of 1990 --Three Pioneer women highlighted as leaders at SHU: Dr. Kristen Wenzel, Assistant to the President, Ginny Apple, Director of Public Relations, and Margaret Farrell, Director of Women’s Center --“Some Enchanted Evening” plays at SHU Theater through April 1st --Winners of the Charles Plohn Art Scholarships pose with President Cernera and art professor Virginia Zic following the annual student art competition --Sports.
