Abstract

This paper will examine the benefits of equine assisted therapy in a variety of individuals demonstrating varying disorders and conditions in relation to their gross motor function, social skills, emotional health, as well as other aspects of their health affected by their condition. Through the accumulation of data, equine assisted therapy has shown to produce positive results and improvements across nearly all studies conducted as it has the ability to effectively incorporate both physical and neurological interventions into a single kind of therapy.
