Abstract

With social media being so prevalent in our lives and society, it can cause mental health disorders in teenagers who are still in the process of developing into an adult. It can affect their social skills and they might experience anxiety and depression, low self-esteem, or develop body image issues because they are constantly comparing themselves to others on the platforms.
