Abstract
The article discusses the highlights of a Mathematics Workshop conducted by teachers from West School, New Canaan, and Stepney Elementary School, Monroe, Connecticut. The teacher first introduced a skill, concept, or strategy, then demonstrated and shared her own thinking. A focused mini lesson and small focused groups followed. The set of mathematics tasks that the students performed are also mentioned.
