Health Policy and the Nurse Practitioner
Few issues currently incite as much passion as healthcare reform. Nurse practitioners (NPs) need to have the knowledge and skills to respond to the increased need for healthcare providers, and be positioned as leaders in the development of health policies affecting patients as well as professional practice.
