Abstract
Anthony Obilade is an Adjunct Associate Professor in the Departments of English and Political Science at Sacred Heart University. This paper was first presented at Sacred Heart University on March 21, 1995 as part of the Third World Institute Lecture Series sponsored by the Department of Global Studies.
