Abstract
The purpose of this article is to encourage the creation of an ongoing dialogue on the ethical aspects of professional life--which turn out to be, at present, the ethical aspects of public life in general.
This paper, originally sponsored by Sacred Heart University's Center for Applied Ethics, was delivered at the University in the fall, 1981.
