Highlights include: Sexual harassment forum held in response to the Clarence Thomas/Anita Hill Senate confirmation hearings --Consistency helps bring home awards for SHU Debate Society --Curfew tightened at dorms following Mischief Night --Pitor Gzowski, a communications professor and writer/director/producer of many plays held here at SHU, has started a new project here called the “Readers Theater” in conjunction with the Communications Department --Dr. Serenity Young has joined the Sacred Heart University faculty as an Assistant Professor of Religious Studies --Dr. Oliver Sachs gives lecture on the devastating effects of Encephalitis Lethargica or “Sleeping Sickness”, his book "Awakenings", and the documentary film which followed --Leg injury sidelines SHU soccer player Fernando Fernandes --SHU freshman running back John Wells (Cos Cob) turns a fourth-and-one situation into a 36-yard touchdown run against Western New England.
