Abstract

Highlights include: Theta Rho chapter of Alpha Delta Pi at SHU was officially installed as its 209th chapter --SHU students on new Pope --Avielle Richman’s parents see the foundation named for their daughter as their response to the tragedy in Newtown that has launched advocacy work on many fronts, including school safety and mental illness. The Avielle Foundation says it hopes to remove stigmas for people seeking mental health aid, develop the concept of a “brain health check-up,” and identify behavioral and biochemical diagnostics for detection of people at risk of violent behaviors --Sacred Heart students on the Encounter with Christ retreat got out of their comfort zones and learned to open themselves to new relationships with God and with new friends --Professor Nathan Lewis has taken top honors with his 62”x 32” painting “Orpheus.” at the Paint & Clay Club’s 112 Annual Juried Exhibition at the John Slade Ely House in New Haven --Sacred Heart hosted the New England Film Festival --Sports.
