An enormous amount of technology is owed to Maxwell's theory of electromagnetism and his perseverance through cultural obstacles to advocate his talent of mathematical interpretation.


Winner of the 1st Place Prize for the 2012 Writing Across the Curriculum contest. Undergraduate paper submitted as a requirement for the course History of Mathematics (MA 299) taught by Dr. Julianna Stockton in the Mathematics Department of Sacred Heart University.
