Abstract

The following research paper studied the benefits of implementing Artificial Intelligence within society under multiple disciplines such as health care, financial services, research methods and even combating money laundering and cyber crime. Artificial Intelligence is often seen to be an advanced form of technology that poses unknown outcomes and risks. Many skeptics fear that such an advanced form of technology will overrun society, become uncontrolled, or land in the wrong hands. These risks should be assessed and examined. However, the benefits Artificial Intelligence could provide our society may outweigh these risks. Research shows that conjunctive use of Artificial Intelligence alongside humans in numerous fields and occupations improves convenience, efficiency, as well as decreasing human error. Government regulation is a possible solution to the posed risks of abusing Artificial Intelligence. With regulation abuse can be monitored and risks can be minimized thus allowing for Artificial Intelligence to be used to the best advantage of humans.
