Abstract
Many studies have been taken to prove that music has a myriad of benefits on a given task being performed by the individual. To further the work done on these experiments and studies, I would like to involve the health benefits and how they specifically affect/ benefit those who are studying at the collegiate level. Based on research done in this area of focus, it can be shown that music can influence people into improving their lifestyles and enjoying their time in college. Music, therefore, can improve mental health as well as influence the addition of positive lifestyle choices in college-age students.
