Abstract

The goal of most people is to be happy. It is often difficult to lead a life full lasting happiness. Especially today, America seems to be in an epidemic of un-happiness. The purpose of this paper is to get to the root of what factors create long lasting happiness in peoples lives and what factors have a negative effect on happiness. The paper delves into social, economic and psychological influences on happiness.
