Abstract
By examining Enron and the financial collapse of 2008, corporate ethics is a topic of concern for working Americans. Top executives need to be held at a higher standard when making decisions for their companies. Decision making is something that needs to be enforced at all levels of the job and in schools. Obviously making a profit is the main goal of the corporation, but what other goals are necessary when observing ethics in business? These corporate leaders will often push their morals aside when making decisions on the future direction of the company. Enron and the financial collapse will serve as case studies to help show why ethical guidelines are needed in the corporate setting.
