Abstract
My project is a mechanical arm that can pick up items with a claw attached to the end of it. The arm will have two angles of rotation, both horizontal which will be operated using servo motors. The inputs sent to these servos will come from a controller. The controller will consist of potentiometers that read different values as their angle changes and these values will be sent to an Arduino and converted into degrees in real time to operate the arm. The claw will also be operated by a servo motor and controlled using a button.
