Abstract

The ingredients in medical marijuana can act on different receptors to decrease sensitivity to pain and reduce inflammation. However, it's been shown to have negative consequences on the lungs, developing brain, and possible tolerance. There should be certain conditions/ requirements in which medical marijuana can be used.
