Abstract
This film (9:56) is about the importance of horseshoe crabs and Project Limulus, a horseshoe crab tracking and conservation effort at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT. Project Limulus is funded by Disney Worldwide Conservation Fund. Created by Sarah Elisabeth Pfeffer SHU Class of 2013.
The film, entitled Project Limulus, which was produced by Sarah Pfeffer ’13 while she was doing an internship with the Biology Department, has been selected for a screening at the Beneath the Waves Film Festival during the Benthic Ecology meeting in Florida March 2014. Project Limulus is an ongoing citizen monitoring effort for horseshoe crab populations. The film includes photos by Tracy Deer-Mirek, assistant director of Communications at SHU.
