Did you know that CT briefly had a NFL Team- the Hartford Blues. The Blues began in 1924 in Waterbury but owner George Mulligan moved the team to Hartford to see if it would become more successful. The Blues’ opener was against the New York Giants. In 1927, the NFL decided to cut the weaker teams, the Blues was one of them .
