Abstract
Burnout may play a significant role in program director turnover and other negative outcomes, which could have long-lasting effects in the dietetics profession. Program directors are dealing with many obstacles regarding the education of future dietitians including the 2022 ACEND Standards, navigating the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic, and the new graduate degree requirement to sit for the RDN exam.
