Abstract
In early 2003, I presented the Provost’s Council and the President’s Cabinet with a plan for the renewal of the University Library. In October, 2003, I provided the students, faculty and staff with a document that made public our plan to revive library organization, infrastructure, collections and services. As calendar year 2006 has come to a close, so has the fourth year of the plan. Now that the fifth year is beginning, it seems appropriate that I report on our progress.
