Abstract
Background: Evidence-based practice (EBP) skills are a core curricular outcome for entry-level physical therapy students. Curricula address this content area using didactic and applied courses. Admission pre-requisites and the student's prior experience and academic preparation may influence their self-confidence in their EBP skills. In turn decisions about the content rigor and delivery could be informed by knowledge about student confidence.
