Abstract
"The exploration of two realities in the Catholic experience in America is the object of the research. ... First, the growth of ecclesial lay movements which are truly counter-cultural in respect to trends both in the Church and in American society. ... The other changing reality for the Church has been the importation of the Eastern rite Catholic churches to this country."
