Abstract
Highlights include: President Dr. Anthony Cernera presents an address to the Sacred Heart Community regarding the university growth and his hopes for the future of the university, which include the building of a health and recreation center, two new residence halls, and athletic fields on campus. A new PEACE group on campus makes a university-wide effort to get involved with the surrounding communities, and new studies are addressed regarding an unprecedented level of rape statistics. Student Voice gives Sacred Heart students a chance to speak their mind about the quality of food on campus. Student writers take a look ahead into the sports seasons, covering the upcoming women's volleyball and women's soccer seasons, as well as the football season, beginning with a scrimmage against St. John's University.
