Abstract
Highlights include: A generous gift from the Continuing Education Council enables Sacred Heart's Ryan Matura Library to enhance its multimedia facility with a laser disc player and several databases in CD-ROM --The library has also completed the changeover to a new on-line catalog. For students who have a personal computer and access to the Internet, the CARL catalog can be accessed from outside the library by going into Internet,then typing: “Telnet pac.carl.org” --Charles H. Reed, an adjunct professor of management at SHU Stamford since 1984 assumed the role of director of programs --The bowling team had its introduction-interest meeting on Sept. 11 --Pioneer gridders beat St. Francis 22-13 --The Alvin T. Clinkscales Golf Classic, named for the Special Assistant to the Provost for Community and Minority Affairs, will tee off at the Fairchild Wheeler Golf Course.
