Highlights include: SHU security heightened --The sisters of Beta Delta Phi have increased dedication to educating students about breast cancer --New freshmen officers elected via Internet --On Oct. 2 a lecture was held in the University Commons called “Democracy and the War on Terror” --SHU graduate Keisha Whittaker is rap station's newest DJ --Taskforce Against Homophobia promotes Safe Zone training --A new exhibit beginning Oct. 20 will exhibit the art of the respected artist Will Barnet --Homecoming/Reunion Weekend 2002 was kicked off with the 1st annual Homecoming Pep Rally marking the first year in SHU history that current students were able to participate in Homecoming activities --Wrinkle and "Uzi" lead Men’s and Women’s Cross Country Team at the Fairfield Invitational --Mitchell and Redican lead Sacred Heart football past conference favorites Robert Morris College --Sophomore Gregg Curley has impressive Track and Field record (photo).
