Abstract
Highlights include: New England regional accreditation committee will forward its preliminary report to President Kidera --Sacred Heart University’s Self-Evaluation Report, and Supplement to the Self-Evaluation Report showed certain facts which might lead one to question the attitude of those in monetary control of the University toward women in a teaching role --"Beatitude Wall", a mural designed by Sr. Corita, a renowned contemporary artist. It had originally hung in the Vatican Pavilion at the 1964 World’s Fair --The Connecticut state legislature recently established the long awaited majority age of 18 --Letters to the Editor and Commentary --Dr. Alan H. Jones has joined the faculty of Sacred Heart University as an associate professor and chairman of the education department --Next semester at SHU an elective course in communication arts will be offered. It will be taught by Fr. John Giuliani and entitled “The Rebel as Hero in American Movies” --Aside from his teaching duties with the Sociology Dept. Dr. Michael Kriegsfeld is involved with work in the field of Psychotherapy --Audiovisual resources in the SHU Library, including turntables, a collection of art slides, and spoken word tapes --Sportd.
