Abstract
Highlights include: The Year in review --Nine “Mini courses,” noncredit short-term lessons, will be offered --An eight-week course involving the basic techniques of modeling and carving and the understanding of three dimensional forms in space will be taught by Gertrude Amidar, a well known local artist --James Simmons, a poet of prominence from Northern Ireland, was in residence at SHU on April 11 --Do We Need Capital Punishment? by Greg Collins --Talking Sports.
