Abstract
Highlights include: SHU’s latest attraction is the pub called the Draught Board --Sister Margaret Glendon, a Sister of Charity Of Saint Elizabeth, a religious order based in New Jersey, has recently joined the staff of SHU as a part time writer --Joseph R. Burkart has been promoted to Assistant to the President for University Development --The feeling from a sampling of public opinion that the recent presidential pardon of former president Richard M. Nixon by President Ford was justified seemed to be the general impression obtained on a visit to the London, Engand area by Joseph R. Burkart --Dr. Grace Farrell Lee and Robert B. Berner have come to SHU with teaching experience as well as scholarly research to their new assignments in the English Dept. --In memoriam: July 18 1974 was a sad day for the SHU family. It was the day Dr. William H. Conley, first president and chancellor emeritus of Sacred Heart University died due to cardiac arrest.
