Abstract

Highlights include: Inflation hits Sacred Heart --Sigma Tau Omega plans fifth Appalachia trip --Four student writers in spring and summer sessions of Advanced Composition at SHU have had articles accepted for state and national publications this fall --Multi-media facilities increase: Dr. Donald E. Coonley, as director of media studies and assistant professor of English heads the university’s overall multi-media efforts, joined with Mrs. Monica Roberts, audio visual coordinator, and students John S. Quinn administrative assistant for media studies, and Lynn McNamara, WSHU station manager. Dr. Coonley echoes the sentiment that in a long-range sense media studies is becoming an area of highly expanded SHU growth --Music of the 1930s is on tap this weekend at the Sacred Heart university Cabaret --
