Abstract
The focus of this study is uncovering if there is a relationship between sources of media and how it may affect an individual’s view towards undocumented immigrants. The research question is: Does the source of media and political affiliation affect an individual’s perception of undocumented immigrants? The hypothesis of this study is that republicans and individuals who use social media as their main news source will have more negative perceptions of undocumented immigrants when compared to democrats and people who do not use social media as primary new source.
