Abstract
There is an astonishing amount of data that highlights both the educational deficiencies, as well as behavioral problems, that are heightened with early elementary students who are experiencing homelessness. Children who experience rural homelessness perform substandardly in academic settings, and therefore need stronger academic, social, and emotional support in schools.
