Abstract

The authors discuss the benefits of inverted row exercise, a multi-joint upper-body exercise for development of shoulder girdle and lumber spine stability. Mentioned are the benefits of inverted row exercise which promotes multiple muscle contractions, proximal stability and lumbosacral spine to perform athletic activities. The authors also suggest several positions for performers of inverted row exercise includes using suspension-type exercise equipment and standing inverted row exercise.
