Abstract

Manual therapy (MT) may be effective in the treatment of carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS). Evidence suggests a greater effect of MT when individuals likely to respond favorably are identified. Features of individuals with CTS likely to respond to upper extremity (UE) MT have not been identified. The purpose of this study was to identify factors predictive of a positive change in clinical outcomes in individuals with CTS receiving UE MT.
