Abstract

Highlights include: Selective Service tests student qualifications --The Rev Walter M. Abbott, S.J., Associate Editor of America and Director of The John LaFarge Institute will speak at the May 5 convocation --For many Catholics the recent changes in the Mass have brought a fuller understanding of the Eucharistic Sacrifice as a form of community worship --Fantasy, as a literary form is undergoing a revival. Mr. William Ready, University Librarian, spoke to 40 SHU students and faculty members about a leader of that movement, T.R.R. Tolkien --The third annual Spring Formal, sponsored by the Junior class, will be held June 2 at the Pinecrest Country Club in Shelton --At the first blood bank conducted by the Fairfield Red Cross Chapter at Sacred Heart, a total of 81 pints was collected --Mr. J. Donald Feeley, Director of Athletics, enlarges athletic schedule to include track club & intramurals.
