The mission of the PhD in Social Work program is to develop anti-racist social work scholars and diverse, emerging stewards of the profession as they pursue research, advance social work practice through the dismantling of oppression through micro. mezzo, macro systems; engage in social change efforts; and inspire innovative practices to promote social and racial justice.
